All 8 Houston K-Mart stores (I believe that's all of them, there may be 1 or 2 others) are closing, and various ones in small towns within 50 miles, like Katy. Looks (...) (...) Yup, there goes the local one in Chino/Chino Hills. It was squeezed by a Target, Wal-Mart, and Costco locally. I can't say it's a big loss since I very rarely went into the store. I recall reading somewhere on LUGNET that there was a LEGO store of one type or another in a strip mall not to far from LEGOLand. I have searched around a bit but haven't found anything. Keep checking your local Target's train stock. I helped liberate a couple of Kansas City area stores that had moved their trains to the magical 75% off mark this week.
