  Re: 3403 for $7

Yep - these sets are great for the larger slopes and also black supports. I don't want to rain on your parade Bill, but if you have a KB Toys near you, check them out. I have just bought 6 of these sets for $4.99 each. This was KB Clearance in (...) (22 years ago, 2-Nov-02, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  FOTM: 3403 for $7

OK, it's not that great a find, but it is half off. It was an opened box on the clearance end-cap at Wal-Mart. I love these soccer sets - they have lots of great blue and white and grey slopes and other useful parts. They're great Space parts (...) (22 years ago, 1-Nov-02, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: S@H Web Specials - USA

(...) The impression I get in the stores in New York is that somebody is flogging these whether they move or not, someone who can afford to wait a long time for the idea to pan out (or a contract to run out.) (22 years ago, 1-Nov-02, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: S@H Web Specials - USA

(...) Wow, thats surprising - they just finished the McDonalds promo and the Holiday season is around the corner. I would have thought this would have delayed any of the sales they were planning for them... Oh well. Lets hope Target puts them on (...) (22 years ago, 1-Nov-02, to lugnet.market.shopping)

RE: S@H Web Specials - USA

Hi, Same thing at Walmart up here in Canada....it was all in their clearance section for more than 50% off. Having said that, my 6 year old has developed quite a bit of an interest in it after the McDonald's Galidor promotion. When I asked him what (...)   S@H Web Specials - USA

So, I wonder how successful the Galidor line has been for LEGO? The reason I ask is because I notice that S@H has ALL of them at 50% off in their webspecials section! Hmmm, doesn't look good! Richard (who is not wanting to get into a Galidor is not (...) (22 years ago, 1-Nov-02, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: 3451 Sopwith Camel for $39.86 (U.S.)

(...) Thanks for the post on this deal. I picked one up yesterday after work at the Target down the street. (That's Kearny Mesa Target for you San Diego area folks.) It goes nicely with the Red Baron I bought at Disneyland a couple of weeks ago. (...) (22 years ago, 31-Oct-02, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Holiday S@H Catalog is out

(...) 3 page, actually. It has a fold out extra page. It really is a marvelous looking model, and the picture really highlights that. Adrian -- www.brickfrenzy.com (22 years ago, 31-Oct-02, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Holiday S@H Catalog is out

I received the 2002 Holiday Shop at Home catalog in the mail today (Cary, North Carolina). As near as I can tell there isn't anything in it that hasn't already been seen on the web somewhere including the Shell sets. Some of the new bulk packs in (...)   Re: Target clearances greater than 75% off?

(...) I was under the impression that a price ending in the number 4 signified the final markdown. That is, until the Hagrid's Huts, which at $6.98 were 75% off. I didn't dare wait to see if they came down further because the few I did manage to (...) (22 years ago, 31-Oct-02, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Target clearances greater than 75% off?

(...) You can blame me for what happens around Detroit. I typically score big--*very* big--at a couple of Targets on the first day of 75%-off. This year they moved to 75% a week early; I happened in the next day and spent perhaps $500. In previous (...) (22 years ago, 30-Oct-02, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Target clearances greater than 75% off?

(...) I don't specifically recall Lego sets at this price range -- but in my area Lego is usually cleared out long before the 75% discount. However, Target stores WILL go to around 85-90% if there is sufficient overstock. I have seen this several (...) (22 years ago, 30-Oct-02, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Target clearances greater than 75% off?

(...) Not on Lego, but they do that with Christmas merchandise. After christmas it starts at 50%, then moves to 75%, then 90%. I think I saw a few items at 95% come February, but after 90% they probably either trash the merchandise or sell it to (...) (22 years ago, 30-Oct-02, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Target clearances greater than 75% off?

I ask this because a month or so ago I found one 7127 AT-ST for 66¢. Now I have a few sets at Target waiting for me that are now hovering at the 75% off range. Has anyone *ever* noticed incredibly low prices on sets at Target? I'm curious because if (...) (22 years ago, 30-Oct-02, to lugnet.market.shopping)
