For those of you who detest all of those junk mailers, try the following:
If the mailer includes a postage paid mail back envelope, just stuff
everything they sent (including the outer envelope) back in the mail back
envelope and return it to them. The post office actually charges full
postage to the junk mailer for this service. You provide revenue to the
post office, added cost to the junk spammers, and reduced trash on your end.
Of course make sure that the junk mailer requires a signature before you
accept their offer, and naturally don't sign the application. I generally
circle my address and add a short note to remove my information from their list.
