Re: US Postal rates to increase this July

(...) Well, First Class Mail is taking nearly twice as long to reach its destination as it used to; I blame security procedures and (for some things) more vigilant customs or even irradiation for it. But I'm happy to pay higher prices--the USPS, for (...) (23 years ago, 23-Mar-02, to lugnet.market.shipping)

Re: US Postal rates to increase this July

(...) It seems that the postal service just keeps raising the prices to ship things. What's up woth that? You think 9-11 had to do with that? It is kind of sad that the postal service's workers think that way. Well, I guess that's because of the (...) (23 years ago, 23-Mar-02, to lugnet.market.shipping)

Re: US Postal rates to increase this July

(...) A post office employee told me back before the holidays already that if the proposed rate changes went through they would put themselves right out of the Priority Mail business. Not a good sign when your own workers can't find something good (...) (23 years ago, 23-Mar-02, to lugnet.market.shipping)

brickshop open...minifigs, baseplates, western and more

Greetings all, I have just recently opened a store front at bricklink.com called "All Things Lego" and I'm trying to figure out where the appropriate postings for this kind of thing are supposed to go.   Re: Shipping Labels/Invoice

(...) You may want to try Uline. They have the various label types that start at $30 for a box of 100 sheets. That gets you down to ~30-cents page even if they are not exactly what you seek. The two-up labels (each 5.5 x 8) possibly could be used (...) (23 years ago, 14-Jan-02, to lugnet.market.shipping)

  Shipping Labels/Invoice

I'm still looking for a source for full-page laser printer form that has a small area with peel off label. Not a page size sticky label (these cost 42 cents and still have to be cut up.)   Re: Good stick-on printer labels?

Yeah, I didn't see what I wanted at the store. I checked Avery and found 5165 and 8165. The 5165 cost $42 for 100. 5265 is a box of 25. These are full page size. I'm interesting in something that has only part of the page perforated as a label, with (...) (23 years ago, 5-Jan-02, to lugnet.market.shipping)

(...) I use the avery laser printer ones. You can find them at a store like Staples. They have many sizes, and are good if you want to both use them in your laser printer or simpy write on them. -- Scott (23 years ago, 5-Jan-02, to lugnet.market.shipping)

  Good stick-on printer labels?

Hey, Has anybody found a good way to make your own sticky shipping labels? I'm thinking of those page-size sticky sheets that mail order houses print your invoice and shipping label on. Who makes these and what type of printer do they favor? (...) (23 years ago, 5-Jan-02, to lugnet.market.shipping)
