I just signed up with PayPal, and I have two questions about the
"Refer-A-Friend Bonus." I'd write and ask PayPal, but I'd rather hear from
someone who has first-hand experience, and I didn't see the answer listed in
their FAQs.
First question:
When/if you receive a referral bonus from someone, does that $5 bonus just
show up in your account as the result of someone signing up with you as the
referrer, or do you also get to see their name?
If possible, we'd like to let people pay part of their LUGNET lifetime
membership fee via the PayPal referral bonus, if they want to do that.
Second question:
Does someone _really_ have to sign up via the link that PayPal provides for
you? When I signed up, I didn't go through anyone's link, but there was a
box where I could type in the email address. Is that box equivalent to the
link, in terms of the bonus?

| I believe the bonus does not show the name in your PayPal account history, but you do receive an email confirming who signed up to credit the bonus. Someone else check me on this, but I'm pretty sure you can simply type in the referral email address (...) (25 years ago, 24-Mar-00, to lugnet.market.services)
