I have used USPS priority mail boxes "inside-out" from time to time. The
USPS frowns on this big time. Yesterday the guy at the counter closely
looked at one of my boxes and asked if it was a USPS priority box. I said
no (and it wasn't) and asked him why. He stated that they will not accept
"Priority Mail" boxes for anything other than priority mail. If they
determine it is put together inside out they will either charge priority
mail rates or not accept the package. I would think if a box was used they
wouldn't care but we'll see.
