  Re: Boxes anyone???

(...) General box #5, Drab box #1 & Technic box #1 have all passed through my place and are somewhere in CanadaTourLand. James (URL) (25 years ago, 10-Oct-99, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)

  Re: Boxes anyone???

I just dropped General Box 3 (I think) in the mail yesterday morning, headed for Christopher Weeks. I took out lots of useful but not exciting pieces - yellow reverse slopes, dark gray 1x1s w/ side stud, a couple of click hinges, etc. Added some car (...)   Re: Boxes anyone???

General Box #2 was finally sent out to Patricia Schemp on Friday. I skipped over John D. since I didn't recieve a reply for an address. I wanted to get it in the mail last Monday, but just didn't make it 'til Friday. Julie (25 years ago, 9-Oct-99, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)

  Re: Boxes anyone???

(...) More bad news, John K. sent me mail on 9/14 asking me for my address so he could send me general box#1 and since then I have not received the box and I have gotten any replies from John. (25 years ago, 9-Oct-99, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)

  Re: Boxes anyone???

Well, I checked with Rob the other day and it seems that General Box 4 is still AWOL :( Though I've only heard from one person that I was dealing with around the time, and I know they didn't get the box by mistake... Ed I know has sent out the (...) (25 years ago, 9-Oct-99, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)

It's now been over a week since we have heard of any box status. What's the deal?? -Phil (25 years ago, 9-Oct-99, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)

Re: Group Question - please read and give me your opinion

(...) I don't think we have a policy for making policy. But we DO have a policy for making policy about policy. (1) Hope that helps :-) Seriously I sense a consensus that a week (and three notes) is plenty. Move him down and go on to the next (...) (25 years ago, 5-Oct-99, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)

Re: Group Question - please read and give me your opinion

I would say if after a week at the most you don't get a response send it to the next person, just let me know that you skipped someone so I can mark it on the list. Everyone so far that I've mailed for an address got back to me the next day or (...) (25 years ago, 5-Oct-99, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)

Re: Group Question - please read and give me your opinion

I agree with Jeremy. Tell Tamyra, and send to the person after him/her I'm still waiting to hear from Bryce McGlone on Junk Box #1 Paul Sinasohn, who still needs 2x2x5 girders (...) the (...) (25 years ago, 4-Oct-99, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)

(...) No longer than a week. (...) Yes. And bump Steve Campbell down one notch. (...) Do we have a policy for making policy? ;-) Cheers, - jsproat (25 years ago, 4-Oct-99, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)

Group Question - please read and give me your opinion

I have had no luck so far in contacting the next person (Steve Campbell) on the Minifig Box#1 list. I have sent 3 e:mails and posted a notice in Jambalaya. How long should I wait for a response from Steve Campbell? Should I move on to the following (...) (25 years ago, 4-Oct-99, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)

Steve Campbell - I need your address fro Minifig Box #1

I've sent e:mails but have not gotten a response. PLease send me your snailmail address so I can send the box on to you. (25 years ago, 2-Oct-99, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)

Re: The Sad State of Minifig Box #1

(...) I forgot to sign that... Paul Sinasohn, in Oakland. (25 years ago, 2-Oct-99, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)

Re: The Sad State of Minifig Box #1

(...) Chris is not necessarily to blame for that situation with his original box - the one Tammy is not tracking. I probably am, as I more than doubled the weight of the box, and some of that doubling was in basic bricks. But I put a lot of other (...) (25 years ago, 2-Oct-99, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)

Re: The Sad State of Minifig Box #1

My thoughts on MFB1 and the general state of things. When this box left me (after Todd gave me the stuff to partition as I see fit) it had a lot of very beat up minifigs. The debate swirled around what to do with it. I had already put some minifigs (...) (25 years ago, 2-Oct-99, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)

Re: The Sad State of Minifig Box #1

(...) I am relieved to hear this. I, mistakenly, thought that someone had taken good condition pieces and replaced them with the "many old, beat up, missing lots of parts type torsos". My faith in the participants of Jambalaya is restored. (25 years ago, 1-Oct-99, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)

  Re: Minifig Box #2

Minifig Box #2 is on its way. It took me a while to get it together, but I can assure you that there are about 65 very mint minifigs, 4 "Stiffies", 1 Technic, and 6 Maxifigs. All torsos are in excellent shape, and most (85%) have legs to go with (...) (25 years ago, 1-Oct-99, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)

Re: The Sad State of Minifig Box #1

Well, the box came to me (first person to get it), with many old, beat up, missing lots of parts type torsos (after all, Todd originally said these were parts he was considering throwing away), so some of those in the box are probably the originals. (...) (25 years ago, 1-Oct-99, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)
