  Re: General Box #5

(...) My test for if an element is COMPLETELY worthless is whether Nik (8 in April) will take it. If he won't... Needless to say, he won't take 1x1 eyes. Craigo used 2 in his dinosaurs which I think is the first time I've ever seen them used for (...) (25 years ago, 12-Feb-00, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)

Re: The Weeks box round two - who wants in?

Chris, I had expressed interest in round 2 before I left for my UK vacation. I'm in the same neighborhood as Tom Stangl; should I just piggyback on his session? Paul Sinasohn (25 years ago, 11-Feb-00, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)

  GB#3 - Status Report

GB#3 arrived today in Northeast Ohio... looks like the USPS took good care of it and Frank must have packed it well, since it didn't have that familiar rattle... I haven't told my son yet (darn it, I had to get it out just now so he'd quit trying to (...) (25 years ago, 11-Feb-00, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)

Re: Return to LEGO (was Re: General Box #5)

Yes. Now make sure to ship it to Brad J, so he knows what NOT to offer through LD ;-) He can just check all of our Wants pages to see what SHOULD be offered. Hmmmm, that being said...I think we should talk to Kevin Loch or Todd about setting up a (...) (25 years ago, 10-Feb-00, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)

  Re: General Box #5

(...) You WANT the green slopes with chicken from #6? I'll be splitting 30 or more into my parts bins soon, so if you want all 30+ printed slopes, we can talk Trade, just see my Wants page ;-) (URL) Tom Stangl, Technical Support Netscape (...) (25 years ago, 10-Feb-00, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)

Return to LEGO (was Re: General Box #5)

(...) :-) Actually, that would entail everyone paying an increasing load as the box grew. OTOH, if it all went to a central hub and then were shipped from there, that would minimize shipping expense. I'm moving in the next month sometime, but after (...) (25 years ago, 10-Feb-00, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)

  Re: General Box #5

Chris Weeks wrote, re eye and mouth bricks: (...) What a great idea! Hey, how about a "return to Lego" box... everyone puts in the stuff they hate and TLC is last on the list. It might give them a hint! Kevin (25 years ago, 10-Feb-00, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)

  Re: General Box #5

(...) Because it's cute and cheap? It wouldn't be so bad if they didn't come in EVERY blasted Freestyle/Classic/Basic set. What would be best is if they just put them into the smaller sets (then people who like them can easily get some, and those of (...) (25 years ago, 10-Feb-00, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)

  Re: General Box #5

(...) You tricked me! ;-) I read this at first and agreed that it wasn't your place, but that was foolish of me. The whole point of posting what I took and added was to include the community. Thanks Frank, your points are well taken. I've removed (...) (25 years ago, 10-Feb-00, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)

  Re: Junk Box #3

Ok, I suggest we start a new sign-up list instead of using the old list, most of those people left on the list are people who already got Junk box 1 or are on the list for it. So I just left them hanging there hoping someday JB2 would surface.. (...) (25 years ago, 10-Feb-00, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)

  Re: Junk Box #3

(...) That might be a good idea, then we can sort of alternate people. Of course when you actually get the box, you may take more or less than expected, but a general alternation between contributors and consumers would increase the variety. If we (...)   Developing Trends (was: Re: General Box #5 (& #4))

(...) Maybe people who are interested in these things should post a message. When a box turns up with an excess of wheels or regular bricks, it could be sent to that person next.   Re: Junk Box #3

(...) Good point. Let's keep the plates mostly to ones that are useable, just not good enough the contributor's collection. With that in mind, probably about half the plates I pulled from Junk Box #1 can go into Junk Box #3, but I will still ask (...) (25 years ago, 9-Feb-00, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)
