Hello LUGNET, I have had absolutely no luck getting a 6557. I have been looking for over nine months now and I am desperate. I am now offering $50 to anyone who can sell me one. My son's B-day is coming up and he has a Divers collection complete (...) (25 years ago, 2-Jan-00, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade, lugnet.trains)

Mark, I saw one or two of these at a local store just two weeks ago. Regrettably, I visited the store today and they had no 6557's left. Sorry to Mr. Linsey and the others that emailed me about acquiring this set. (...) Check your local Tuesday Morning store. That is pretty much the only US store chain that received the set. Also, I am sure you have called S@H (8004534652, incase you did not) and they told you it was discontinued. However, it is not rare for (...) It seems that the "off-hours" S@H people aren't so careful and do make some mistakes. I called last Sunday and ordered the 8479 Bar-code Truck and it hadn't arrived by today (2-4 day shipping), so I called and found-out that the order was never (...) (...) No sweat Rich. I called the same night as you did and then the Lego Shop at Home Headquarters the next morning and they gave the word that there were in fact none. Go figure.
