I have a rather decently sized collection of Legos that has been collecting dust for a while I would like to sell, but I am first trying to get opinions as to what they would be worth in either auction or straight sale. I think you might do better to part the collection out, if getting good market value is a factor. You said "collecting dust", and if you mean this literally it is not much fun to have to wash lego -- so despite condition otherwise, that could be a (...) If you sell the stuff off as a single lot, I doubt you will get the numbers you are talking about. If you sell them as individual sets, and print out the instructions (preferably in color), you will do a lot better. But lots of missing parts, (...) (...) I am one of those people who pay per-pound. It is not my preferred way to buy Lego, but I have done it dozens of times.
