Gee, I wonder if this is the same one I have an issue with.
I put in an order, got the usual notification email from Brickbay,
and then attempted to contact the seller by email for shipping cost/info.
All messages bounced back to me as having an invalid address on AOL.
Since I did have a name, I went so far as to chase the guy down by phone
in another state to ask him about it. The basic upshot of our conversation
was that:
1. Well, he'd kind of lost interest in Brickbay.
2. He wasn't really sure that he wanted to sell the set in question.
3. But he would if I would email him at his new address.
He then gave me ANOTHER invalid address.
He's got only a few sets listed on Brickbay, and basically as I see it,
he's stopped servicing orders without bothering to close up his shop.
Very annoying, but I don't see what meaningful I can do about it.
I figure that the upside is that I haven't sent him any money.
