I need an example of a MOC that was made possible by BrickLink orders.
Original builder only please - I want your permission to use your photo (with
credit) in a slide show.

Quite a few of mine have required at least a few parts from Bricklink orders,
but two in particular really stand out in my mind:
Two KB Yoda sculptures, a few dozen parts from my collection, and the rest from
Bricklink. All told, it ran about $220 in Bricklink costs.
This one was more about getting the specific pieces I needed. Those black 3x3x2
sloped facet pieces in the abdomen are painfully difficult to find on Bricklink.
It took me 3-4 different purchases to find the eight that I needed, and I nearly
had to start buying whole sets just to get them. During this process, I found
out that TLC has completely discontinued this part, so whats out there is all
there will ever be.
