I've got to agree with your thoughts on German sellers (hmm, we've been
bumping heads a few times... :-).

Yes, your name appears quite often on Ebay.  When I see the high bidder is
ffilz, I generally do not even bother to bid.  Frank's buying power is greater
than mine and apparently, he also places higher value on Lego than I do.

Occassionally, if I am feeling agressive or vindictive (for a variety of
reasons that may or may not have to do with Ebay or Frank) I bid against Frank
anyway just to drive the price up a bit.

I do think there have been one or two occassions where I actually out-bid Frank
and won the auction.  Those are anomolies, however.

One especially good one to deal with is legofromgermany. She has a
friend in the US who accepts money orders on her behalf (the friend has
also started selling on eBay [mrwoogie56] - something I discovered when
I recognized the seller's address...). I have received airmail packages
from legofromgermany less than 10 days after mailing a money order (and
10 days is what I consider acceptable turnaround for within the US).

My absolute favorite seller for used Lego !!!!!
If you check her feedback, you will see I have left here dozens upon dozens of
excellent feedbacks.  I have gotten a ton of good stuff from her and also
mrwoogie56.

In the last 9 months or so, I have bought so much used Lego on Ebay that I plan
my clothes washing around when I have Lego that needs to be cleaned.  Almost
every week I have large batches of used Lego to be washed in the clothes
washer.  No more washing by hand for me.......
