    "6067" Guarded Inn —Damian Garcia
(URL) this misleading or what? Given the photo's it is obvious what the product is, but it sure seems like a misleading description. Is it me or does it look as if these bags *have* in fact been opened? I don't know if any of the 10000's were (...) (23 years ago, 15-Jul-01, to lugnet.market.auction)

Re: "6067" Guarded Inn —Matthew Gerber
(...) I don't know about the bag...can't really tell from the pics. I do highly doubt that this seller got the ONLY GI with the correct horse packaged IN the set. And no box? On a brand new set? Did the seller buy the set JUST to get a nice box? (...) (23 years ago, 15-Jul-01, to lugnet.market.auction)

"Matthew Gerber" <matthew@digitaliris.com> wrote in message news:GGI077.425@lugnet.com... (...) original (...) Given that there was no advertising on lugnet, rec.toys.lego or alt.toys.lego, I think he was looking for someone who would jump on the (...) (23 years ago, 15-Jul-01, to lugnet.market.auction)

To All, I just love these auctions. I always have a problem, who is the bigger fool, th eone who buys it for 47.99 + shipping or the fool selling it? Ach, people need to do better job looking at these auctions, especially the description, one (...) (23 years ago, 15-Jul-01, to lugnet.market.auction)

Re: "6067" Guarded Inn —Matthew Gerber
(...) Yeah, but in the pics, the white horse is in the bag with the red walls. WAITAMINUTE! I'VE GOT IT! This seller is OBVIOUSLY buying hundreds of #10000 Guarded Inns to get the native horses! That's it! He's just selling off the parts he doesn't (...)          Re: "6067" Guarded Inn —John Radtke
(...) It also has the two-clip saddle and stud-hollow heads. It's easy to guess that he chucked the box to disguise that it's not really an original 6067, but why then include instructions with 10000 on them? Definately not on the straight and (...)          Re: "6067" Guarded Inn —Richard Marchetti
I and some other eBayer informed the buyer of the situation, and I assume he will report the deal to eBay as a kind of fraud. I don't mind someone selling 10000 as such, my problem is calling it 6067 in order to try to jack the price on the unwary. (...) (23 years ago, 15-Jul-01, to lugnet.market.auction)

Re: "6067" Guarded Inn —Troy Cefaratti
It looks to me liek some creative resealing of the bags. Mine all (40) came with the white horse in a separate bag outside the box. The bag the black plates are in looks suspiciously like the the bag the white horse came in. Besides, those plates (...) (23 years ago, 19-Jul-01, to lugnet.market.auction)

Re: "6067" Guarded Inn —Richard Marchetti
(...) A bit? It is completely scummy! I note that one of your own GI parts auctions states: "All Lego® pieces are BRAND NEW and are in never-played-with condition. Parts are from set 10000, the reissue of the classic Guarded Inn set." See? Now if (...) (23 years ago, 19-Jul-01, to lugnet.market.auction)

Re: "6067" Guarded Inn —Lindsay Frederick Braun
(...) Well, that's not the only one to make use of ambiguity to drive the price up: (URL) It says "Guarded Inn", gives no number in the title; it's obvious from the graphic, of course, that it's a 10000, but in the in-text keywords is "6067." That's (...) (23 years ago, 19-Jul-01, to lugnet.market.auction)
