What are the defining attributes of spam? If there is some universally agreed upon definition, feel free to just point me to that. Chris, What you describe is an "opt-out" list, which means the buyer has to do something to be removed from the list. That kind of list can generate the same ill-will already expressed about mailing lists. A better choice is an "opt-in" list, which (...)
