Re: ebay and auczilla stats —David Blomberg
I'm interested in this information. LEGO-VOL has the dollar sum of auctions that ended in the past seven days: $61431 x 52 weeks = nearly $3.2M / year. Wow. To me, that's a lot of money. But to TLC, I assume it is not- TLC had $1.3B 1999 total (...) (24 years ago, 29-Feb-00, to lugnet.market.auction, lugnet.market.theory)

Re: ebay and auczilla stats —Kevin Loch
It's also interesting to note that people are spending 3M+ for LEGO on Ebay each year, and *not* spending it on Town Jr. sets that they might otherwise buy. KL (...) just (...) auctions (...) at (...) you (...) "blue-sets"? (...) much (...) (24 years ago, 29-Feb-00, to lugnet.market.auction, lugnet.market.theory)

Re: ebay and auczilla stats —Jennifer L. Boger

Re: ebay and auczilla stats —David Blomberg
Well- the Dow Jones was named after Charles Dow and Edward Jones. I think you should name your tracking indices after yourself... or some famous celebrity in the world of Lego. The Boger and Boger Set Index, the Boger and Boger Brick Index or Piece (...) (24 years ago, 29-Feb-00, to lugnet.market.theory)

Re: ebay and auczilla stats —Shiri Dori
(...) I disagree. It might not have a real meaning, but the first is definitely pronouncable: the Boger And Boger Set Index aka the BABSI. I have to suggest this: the Boger And Mrs. Boger Index, forming BAMBI... ;) -Shiri (24 years ago, 1-Mar-00, to lugnet.market.theory)

(...) I like instead of the DJIA maybe the D&JLA or something.. however, it still doesn't seem great, the only other thing i came up with was "brickworth" which would make us another "brick" site (no offence intended) or "studworth" which may get (...)      (...) Where are all the criers-out against price guides now? If you search ebay today, you see 271, 305, 461 for hammer price on 4558.    (...) were they from inside the us or canada? those should be in our list, but I don't see them (i think we started tracking info since the end of dec) just curious, not prodding :) (24 years ago, 1-Mar-00, to lugnet.market.theory, lugnet.market.auction)
