I have trouble valuing white train doors right now. I don't know if
kbkids.com still has 5561s for sale, but there are enough good parts in
there that my buying price for white train doors would be rather low (though
my selling price would be higher). I was working one deal to split a 5561
(me keep the windows, doors, and a few of the slopes), and finally just
ordered more 5561s and basically told the buyer that I would be happy to
sell him some of those complete 5561s for essentially what I paid for them
(the deal ended up being rather frustrating for me, not sure what I learned
from it).
I'd definitely agree that a working price of at least $5 per pair of train
doors would be a good starting point for me (for any color, though black
might come in a little cheaper).
