It would depend on the parts. From my perspective, for the most part, the
only standard bricks for which older would get me to pay anything more for
would be old pre-tube bricks (I have a slight interest in putting together a
"history of the brick" display). 1960s parts which are no longer made are a
different story. Parts which have changed form slightly might gain a little
higher interest from me, but not much.
