Re: 6155 Auqazone Deep Sea Preditor

(...) Kai- For some reason, that set hasn't done really well for me, which is why I kept my extra 6155 MISB rather than put it on eBay. I was only able to get $14 for one in August. It may only be coincidence, but the V&D still has five of the big (...) (23 years ago, 26-Mar-01, to lugnet.market.appraisal)

Re: Value of space shuttle windscreen

Thanks for the info Bradley. I hadn't realised that windscreen came in those other sets. I'll definitely pick up a couple of polar scouts now. More orange bricks... Unfortunately the other sets you mention aren't as far as I'm aware available in the (...) (24 years ago, 20-Mar-01, to lugnet.market.appraisal)

Re: Value of space shuttle windscreen

(...) <set:6586 Polar Scout> <set:3439 Spy Runner> <set:6582 Daredevil Flight Squad>. The Arctic Value pack including 6586 was released in late 1999 and is a clearance item in some stores. The Spy Runner can be ordered for $10 US from S@H. 6582 is (...) (24 years ago, 19-Mar-01, to lugnet.market.appraisal)

  Value of space shuttle windscreen

Does anyone have any idea of the value of space shuttle windscreen? (The type that appeared for example on the shuttle in the 6339 shuttle launch pad, part no. 6238)? I'm negotiating with someone to buy one, but am getting hampered by not having (...) (24 years ago, 19-Mar-01, to lugnet.market.appraisal)

  Re: red tutar walls

(...) They only come in set 6067 Guarded Inn, which is one of the highly-sought castle sets from the mid-80's. It came with (you guessed it!) 1 regular & two corner walls. If I were you, I'd go to brickshelf.com and get the instructions, see if you (...) (24 years ago, 13-Mar-01, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.market.appraisal)

  6285 BSB crew

Hi all, How much would the entire minifig crew, including accesories be worth? All in as new condition (no wear whatsoever) Mark (24 years ago, 4-Mar-01, to lugnet.market.appraisal)

  6090 Knight's Castle

Hi What is the value of a 6090 Royal Knights Castle with instructions, no box, all parts? Missing minifigs as follows: Its missing the 2 archers (white torso) and 3 chainmail(?) blue knights, 2 horses (black and brown both with black mane - are they (...)   Re: sale 6286. just $250

Wow. It still seems like A LOT of money...I never said it wasn't a "good deal" for that set, I just said I wouldn't consider it "cheap"! At least I seemed to spark a little conversation here... :) John (...) (24 years ago, 26-Feb-01, to lugnet.market.appraisal)

  Re: sale 6286. just $250

(...) That was partly tongue in cheek, a cheeky response to a cheeky email. I noticed today that ebay won't supply other bidder email addresses, these are only available to the seller. You can email other bidders, but you have to do it through (...) (24 years ago, 26-Feb-01, to lugnet.market.appraisal)

  Re: sale 6286. just $250

(...) I wasn't particularly willing to potentially spend over $250 to make a point though (this was on Serious Collector and I forget what the bid increment was, but it was a percentage kind of deal). Frank (24 years ago, 26-Feb-01, to lugnet.market.appraisal)

  Re: sale 6286. just $250

(...) A 6286 MIB went for $325 a couple of days ago, but others recently are around the $240-260 mark. I think if someone emailed me telling me not to bother bidding, I would outbid them just to make a point. pete.w (24 years ago, 25-Feb-01, to lugnet.market.appraisal)

  Re: Insurance Appraisals

(...) Yes, you are responsible for evaluating how much coverage you need, but just because you carry $25k coverage doesn't mean that you will get $25k when your apartment burns to the ground. They will expect you to document what you owned, and they (...) (24 years ago, 25-Feb-01, to lugnet.market.appraisal)

  Re: sale 6286. just $250

(...) While I wouldn't exactly call $250 for a 6286 in sealed box, it's not at all unreasonable price to ask (from the mouth of someone who paid less than $200 each for 6286s). Of course I haven't paid attention to what these go for on eBay, and I (...) (24 years ago, 25-Feb-01, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade, lugnet.market.appraisal)

  Re: Insurance Appraisals

(...) G'day James, I guess I should look into this as well sometime. As my policy has been explained to me by my insurance agent, I am covered for the actual replacement cost of anything I lose. I just tell them how much total coverage I need for (...) (24 years ago, 24-Feb-01, to lugnet.market.appraisal)

  Re: Insurance Appraisals

I guess it will be sad news when we find out, because at the rate Larry and I are going (both of us have been publicly saying "gee we need (...)   value of #6289 Red Beards Runner
