I wasn't particularly willing to potentially spend over $250 to make a
point though (this was on Serious Collector and I forget what the bid
increment was, but it was a percentage kind of deal).

| (...) That was partly tongue in cheek, a cheeky response to a cheeky email. I noticed today that ebay won't supply other bidder email addresses, these are only available to the seller. You can email other bidders, but you have to do it through (...) (24 years ago, 26-Feb-01, to lugnet.market.appraisal)
