  Re: WHAT THE...

Some people don't collect sets for the pieces :) Like some very tiny space sets that we've seen go for over $100, because someone needed it to be complete... I've seen it go for about $100 before... seems that it's not auctioned that frequently either... maybe that's why? (...) (24 years ago, 9-Nov-00, to lugnet.market.appraisal)

  Expert 8848 appraisal request

Hello! I am wondering if anyone could help me determine a fair market value for an Expert Lego set 8848 (Dumptruck with Front Loader).   What would a 395 fetch on ebay?

I have my old set 395 with the box and instructions. To this day, I have never seen anyone else even mention this set, ever. Nor have I seen it on ebay. All the pieces are there, a couple have yellowed slightly, and the box has a few creases. I (...) (24 years ago, 1-Nov-00, to lugnet.market.appraisal)

Re: Monitoring auctions for street value?

  Monitoring auctions for street value?

Are these really rare ? I found two in a flea market baggie I bought today. I didn't even notice them until I was almost back to the car. I was more interested in the Pizza-To-Go (sans truck) that was in the bag. Ray (24 years ago, 29-Oct-00, to lugnet.market.appraisal)
