  URGENT: 4561 for $70- CAN

I need some quick opinions, is it worth my while to get a Railway Express <set:4561> for $80- Canadian or ~$54- US. I need to decide in the next two hours. BTW, it is MISB. Also I already own a train and lots of track. Thanks in advance for all your (...) (24 years ago, 5-Jul-00, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.loc.ca, lugnet.market.appraisal)

  Re: Value of 8448

I have sold a good few (perhaps 10) at around $100 per pop. The problem with this set is that it is just too big - that packing required for it is silly. There is real demand for this set though (poor distribution), I wish I had enough room to store (...) (24 years ago, 4-Jul-00, to lugnet.market.appraisal)

  Re: Value of 8448

(...) According to Lugnet Set Search, it was made last year and has a retail price of $129.99. I don't know its resale value, but it is not very old and I don't think you would profit from selling 8448s. Just buy some of the big sets you like for (...)   Value of 8448

Hey, What's the market value (eBay, lugnet, rtl?) of 8448? I'm wondering 'coz I came across a few of these at ~$125, and was wondering if it's worth buying just to resell. TIA, -Shiri (24 years ago, 2-Jul-00, to lugnet.market.appraisal)

Re: Market Value of 6204 Pirate Minifigs?

(...) This set is worth more sealed than parted out. Though the chrome armor piece is quite popular. The armada figures never became popular (though they might be now). I bought them for skeletons and pirates. (24 years ago, 30-Jun-00, to lugnet.market.appraisal)

Re: Market Value of 6204 Pirate Minifigs?

Hi Craig, When I got a bunch of these a while back, I was told that the average price on eBay for complete 6204s is $20 (!!). Personally, I sold most of them at $10 each (found them at $8) to fellow lugnetters. -Shiri (24 years ago, 28-Jun-00, to lugnet.market.appraisal)

Market Value of 6204 Pirate Minifigs?

I recently ran across a small cache of these and was wondering their value. One of the boxes is shows slight crushing creaces (sp?). The others are MISB, save for a large store sticker that I think I can remove with Goo-gone (which I am currently (...) (24 years ago, 28-Jun-00, to lugnet.market.appraisal)

  Re: Galaxy Explorer 497 value?

(...) Doing a search on Ebay I found a complete Galaxy Explorer with inst. and no box for 56.00 . Have a look (URL) (24 years ago, 28-Jun-00, to lugnet.market.appraisal)

  Galaxy Explorer 497 value?

What's the street value for a complete Galaxy Explorer Lego set (including original instruction set), not boxed. Any ideas? - Marc (24 years ago, 28-Jun-00, to lugnet.market.appraisal)

  MISB 720 724 726 found

Hi everyone! A friend of mine found a.m. train set in a store (can you believe it...). Has anyone ever seen these being sold; what might they be worth these days? He's not looking to sell them just yet, if at all, but we are bit curious as to how (...) (24 years ago, 28-Jun-00, to lugnet.market.appraisal)

Re: Yellow Castle w/box & instructions...

(...) It is indeed one of the more sought after sets-- "6075 Castle". I'd say it's a matter of how complete it is and how good of condition it's in. Then the matter of 'how much can he GET for it' also differs a lot from method to method of sale. (...) (24 years ago, 26-Jun-00, to lugnet.market.appraisal)

  Yellow Castle w/box & instructions...

Hi All. While showing me his Forestmen collection yesterday, my neighbor mentioned that in his parents' garage is a box of old Lego sets from his childhood, including a big yellow castle from the early 80's. Am I not correct in thinking that this (...) (24 years ago, 26-Jun-00, to lugnet.market.appraisal)

  Re: Macaroni and corrugated bricks

  Re: Macaroni and corrugated bricks

(...) I got 4 in <set:6682 6682> and 2 in <set:5580 5580>. -Adam 8^D (24 years ago, 22-Jun-00, to lugnet.market.appraisal)

  Re: Macaroni and corrugated bricks

(...) As Tom mentioned, add black here, remove green (green just happens to be cheap right now because there is a current, low cost set, which people have even found on clearance I think with them). Red would also be common. (...) The clear macaroni (...) (24 years ago, 22-Jun-00, to lugnet.market.appraisal)

  Re: Macaroni and corrugated bricks

Green is CERTAINLY more rare than black - there were 20+ black in the 5571, and only TWO green in the 7171. I don't know of ANY set, current or past, that has green macaroni except the 7171. There were many sets with black macaronis over the years. (...) (24 years ago, 21-Jun-00, to lugnet.market.appraisal)

  Re: Macaroni and corrugated bricks

  Re: Macaroni and corrugated bricks

About Macaroni: I've done some pricing of these - the most common colors (light and dark grey, green) range anywhere from $.25 to $.75 each piece The rarest color would be the old transparent (clear) bricks from the early incarnation. I don't (...) (24 years ago, 16-Jun-00, to lugnet.market.appraisal)
