Hi, Based on recent emails I've received, there seems to be interest in a Lego gathering. I know of one person willing to set up some space to get together, with access to a PC for Mindstorms-type stuff. I could also bring an old Mac for NQC coding. (...) First, I will say that the TRU in Killeen has the best selection of LEGO of any TRU I have been to (in fact, of any store I have been to). I often go there just to see what they have. Anyone else run out and buy all of the new Episode 1 Star Wars sets the day they were released? :-) I didn't go at midnight though, I waited until about 3pm and bought them all at Wal-Mart. I just checked it out 30 mins ago. They hadn't put the new lots of throwbots on the shelves and they had one shopping cart with 3 x wings and two Tie / Y wing sets. I picked up i xwing and one ywing. I checked the 620 Super Wal-Mart today, no Star Wars sets. Since the Star Wars Lego ads appeared I always find people (kids and adults) in the Lego isle hunting for them.
