I actually foresaw the problem enough to have two separate entry categories -
"set" and "original".  Of course the judge was still clueless as to which
entries were really sets or not, and apparently didn't even care enough to
really distinguish between the two categories.  And yes, I do speak at least
partially out of personal bitterness - my teenage LEGO masterpieces were
usually passed over for Best of Show in favor of the biggest/most expensive
set entered. :)
