  RE: AFOL get-together in Charlotte

Hey all If it was in Columbia (Charleston is better!:-) IMHO), Milissa and I could do it, but Charlotte is a little out of the way to make it any kind of a regular thing. We could discuss the possibility of getting LCLTC (Low Country) or ??????? off (...) (25 years ago, 13-Aug-01, to lugnet.loc.us.sc)

  Re: AFOL get-together in Charlotte

Hey, Once again I was slack about checking this newsgroup. Yeah, if you want to meet up sometime, that would be cool. Anytime after 5 or so on weekdays would be good. I am gone on a lot of weekends, but sometimes I stick around. Maybe write me back (...) (25 years ago, 13-Aug-01, to lugnet.loc.us.sc)

  Re: AFOL get-together in Charlotte

Ah, the "other" AFOL in Cola... I'd be up for getting together sometime. I know there are enough people around to start up a Palmetto LUG. A good portion of the NGLTC (including myself) are from SC. We've got AFOL's in the upstate, midlands, and on (...) (25 years ago, 2-Aug-01, to lugnet.loc.us.sc)

  AFOL get-together in Charlotte

  Bionicle Toa now in TRU

Went by Toys 'R' Us tonight to see if they had any Bionicle stuff in yet, and sure enough, they had all of the Toa. $6.99 a piece. I haven't read anyone else reporting this yet, so I figured I would post. David (25 years ago, 25-May-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle, lugnet.loc.us.sc, lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Can anyone come out and play?

I'm mainly into trains. Lately I've been building town buildings (my own designs, I'm not a big fan of regular town sets). Everything else I buy is broken down and used for parts (even the stock trains). :) (...) (25 years ago, 5-Mar-01, to lugnet.loc.us.sc.col)

Re: Can anyone come out and play?

I'm not sure really. I was just getting kinda lonely and feeling a little isolated (physically) from the Lego community.
