  Re: South Hills TRU

(...) There's a Y-Wing/Tie Fighter + Snowspeeder pack, but I don't know the price offhand. In other news, I saw a few copies of the Stephen Spielberg set at Family Toy in the North Hills, so it might be elsewhere nearby, too! Dave! (24 years ago, 24-Oct-00, to lugnet.loc.us.pa.pit)

  Re: South Hills TRU

(...) Thanks for the heads up, Dave. You didn't happen to notice any other combo-packs at all, did you? The Sith Infiltrator isn't really such a great set, nor are most of the EP1 sets for that matter, but for 50% off maybe it isn't such a bad deal (...)   South Hills TRU

This weekend I saw a combo-pack of the Sith Infiltrator and Naboo Swamp for $20.00, and they had several on the shelves. In addition, there's a 25% sale this week on MegaBloks ProBuilder sets--I know these aren't well-regarded by the masses, but (...) (24 years ago, 18-Oct-00, to lugnet.loc.us.pa.pit)

Re: Next Meeting: Sat Oct 7 2pm at Erik's

Hello all, We have the flu at my house. I'm on the mend but I don't think it's a good idea to have company. (You can get the vaccine the easy way at your doctor.) I suggest trying the next weekend, Saturday Oct 14. I'm wondering if Sunday would work (...)   Re: twisted time trains

  twisted time trains

Not sure how valuable people think this set is, but I was out at the KB Toy Outlet at Century III mall, and they had a bunch of this set (#6497) for just twenty bucks. Not bad actually, and there are some decent pieces. I saw maybe six or so of (...) (24 years ago, 9-Sep-00, to lugnet.loc.us.pa.pit)

Re: So when's the next meeting?

(...) Here's what needs to happen: Someone (like I did before) decide that they're hosting it. (Not, could host it, but _will_ host it.) Then, that someone try to find a date that works for as many people as possible. Once you find out that almost (...)   Re: Target & Wal-Mart

I'm delighted to hear that they're considering the construction of a sub-river trolley to carry people to the hugely expensive stadiums we're building for the two losingest teams in their (...)   Re: Target & Wal-Mart

(...) My wife was driving, so I'm not sure of the exact roads, but overall I found that there were far too many poorly-marked exits (just like most of Pittsburgh), and too many situations in which we had to cross two or three lanes to reach our exit (...)   Re: Target & Wal-Mart

(...) This past Friday I checked out Target in Robinson Town Centre (which, by the way, is accessible only by means of the worst convolution of roads I've seen in several years, even in the context of Pittsburgh!) and they didn't have much to speak (...)
