OK, here's what i've come up with:
November 20/21
or
December 4/5
There are two dates for each because I don't know what is better for
everyone, saturday or sunday. It doesn't matter much to me.
Anything before the 20th is really too short of notice for everyone to make
plans. The weekend between the two dates above is thanksgiving, and I am
assuming everyone will be off visiting family or something (my family all
lives here, so I won't be going anywhere).
I'm thinking mid to late afternoon, to give people traveling a long distance
time to get here without having to leave at 3AM.
Any suggestions on just what we would DO would be greatly appreciated. Of
course, I'll have whatever my current project is available to show everyone.
Everyone could bring something of theirs, if it is safely transportable.
I'm sure that I'll be in the middle of auctions still, so if anyone is
interested I could show them how I work that. (It's generally NOT a pretty
sight!)
Maybe do some part trading. Everyone could post a want list ahead of time,
and then people could bring just what other people are likely to trade for.
Well, post here or e-mail me and let me know which dates are better for you.
Once a solid date and time is set, I will come up with a notification letter
and post it to all of the relevant groups. Maybe even make a web page with
a map and all of that.
