I have an idea. I can call around Columbus and ask various commercial gaming stores (The Soldiery, on Indianola, for example) and see if they would host our event. (And if applicable, how much it would cost to rent a backroom.) Who agrees with this (...) (25 years ago, 9-Apr-00, to lugnet.loc.us.oh)

More on commercial gaming store hosting. (...) 1) The Soldiery is on High Street. My mistake. (...) 2) The Guard Tower can host our event on Friday (The 14th) but not on Saturday, the 15th. It would cost us nothing to play here. 3) The Soldiery can (...) (25 years ago, 10-Apr-00, to lugnet.loc.us.oh)

(...) Jumping in-- We (NELUG) DID hold the event in a museum, but that did pose one major issue, which was timing. The museum was open from 10AM to 5PM, so we had to fit within the time allotted. And thanks to a lack of general preparedness (I have (...) (25 years ago, 10-Apr-00, to lugnet.loc.us.oh)
