OK, OK! -- I give up. Greetings from Canandaigua!
I'm a former Baldwinsville and Binghamton resident, so I've been in a couple
of the corners of CNY. I've noticed Alan speaking up in these parts, so I may
as well jump in too.
Seriously, though, there's a lot to be said for the value of these local
groups. Sometimes there's so much clutter from the masses in other more
populated groups that I lose sight of my identity. I'm not from someplace
that has a local MacFrugal's or a Zeller's, or a Mjers or some other treasure
trove of LEGO shopping FOTWs, but it'd be nice to connect with locals of my
own. Nice to know you're out there, of course. By the way, we've got a nice
local toy shop here by the lake that discounts some year-old sets from time to
time if you're interested.
I'm going to try and stop by the Farigrounds this Sunday to check out the
fancy flea that is the "TOYFUL WEEKEND" - maybe I'll post a report for us
CNYers.
Have fun,
Ed
