  Re: NYC Legofest

(...) Still Interested for Jan 29th. As Erik stated I'm trying to work with the RIS 1.0 and NQC. I'm having issues with the basic Tracker.nqc but they are probably due to environment: line size and color. Mike Lunny (24 years ago, 6-Jan-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ny, lugnet.loc.us.nj)

Re: Call for New Jersey/New York Lego fans!

(...) Arrrgh! That's the weekend my girlfriend and I are going to Toronto for a housewarming party. I'd opt out, but since the person we're visiting is also an old significant-other of hers, I really don't want to have her go there *and* be sore at (...)   Call for New Jersey/New York Lego fans!

This was being discussed in loc.us.nj.tre and loc.us.ny.ny but I thought I'd crosspost to org.us: Ed Jones has suggested the last weekend of January for a Legofest at his house. This would be the first organized meeting of Lego fans in the NYC area, (...) (24 years ago, 5-Jan-00, to lugnet.org.us, lugnet.loc.us.nj.new, lugnet.loc.us.nj.tre, lugnet.loc.us.ny.ny)

  Re: NYC Legofest

Hey, is anybody else available for the last weekend of January? Ed has been quiet about whether he heard enough encouragement yet for the idea! Meanwhile, we could have a mini roll call of what people's interests are, as in what you build or want to (...) (24 years ago, 5-Jan-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ny, lugnet.loc.us.nj)

  Re: NYC Legofest

(...) I'm in too! Ideas: 1. We could poke around with whatever of the 2000 sets kind people bring. 2. MOC show and tell. Bring something original. 3. Workshop. Bring a MOC that needs help, and some extra parts. For example, I have a minifig Jeep (...) (25 years ago, 21-Dec-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ny, lugnet.loc.us.nj)

Re: Look what I found in the Lego aisle! (Was: Re: Anyone out there?)

Re: Look what I found in the Lego aisle! (Was: Re: Anyone out there?)

(...) Hi everyone, I haven't run into anyone who seemed to be serious about LEGO. I did create a LUGNetter out of one of my employees when I was back in Missouri. Hey Laurajean, where do you live? I'm in Plainsboro (next to Princeton). A NYC based (...) (25 years ago, 17-Dec-99, to lugnet.loc.us.nj.new, lugnet.loc.us.nj.tre, lugnet.loc.us.ny.ny)

Look what I found in the Lego aisle! (Was: Re: Anyone out there?)

Yay! I've met my first LUGNETter! And of all places in the Lego aisle at Wal-Mart. Nice meeting you, Laurajean, I'll know now who you are if we do have a meet/go en masse to NELUG. Anyone else run into LUGNETters at the store? -LFB. (25 years ago, 16-Dec-99, to lugnet.loc.us.nj.new, lugnet.loc.us.nj.tre, lugnet.loc.us.ny.ny)

  Re: Anyone out there?

(...) Hello, I work in NYC and live in Union, NJ. It would be about a 20-30 minute to get to New Brunswick. I would be interested in getting together as well. Yippee, message traffic! One more post, and the top 4 will be less than two months old! December is gone, anyway. Though NELUG has got its December meeting set on time. In Jan/Feb there will be 2000 sets to look over... On my calendar for Feb 11 is (...) (25 years ago, 13-Dec-99, to lugnet.loc.us.nj.new, lugnet.loc.us.nj.tre, lugnet.loc.us.ny.ny)

  Re: Anyone out there?
