Re: I'll be visiting this weekend

Meeting for a meal Thursday night is a possibility for me too. If there's a tour of Frank's treasure trove afterwards, then I'm doubly enticed. I haven't done anything except entertain in-laws and friends since our last meeting, so I have nothing (...) (24 years ago, 21-Jun-00, to lugnet.loc.us.nc.ral, lugnet.loc.us.nc)

Hi all, I'm reading along trying to keep track. There is a possibility that I might be able to join in too. I won't know til Thurs. afternoon. Please keep posting or email me as plans solidify. So far it's Franklin, Frank, and Mike. What about you (...) (24 years ago, 20-Jun-00, to lugnet.loc.us.nc.ral, lugnet.loc.us.nc)

I believe that Mike Walsh has been keeping a careful eye on the one near the RTP airport, but hasn't scored any (...) (24 years ago, 20-Jun-00, to lugnet.loc.us.nc)

Thanks. The only "little old toy shoppe" anywhere near here is actually in Hickory, NC...it's called Clark's Toyland and is in the basement of Clark's Tire (downtown Hickory). Last year, I cleared them out of some Pirates sets, a Dark Forest (...) (24 years ago, 20-Jun-00, to lugnet.loc.us.nc)

  Re: Use of lugnet.loc.nc

Welcome to the group, Thomas. I was just up at Blowing Rock a couple of weekends ago, and was fantasizing about the little old toy shoppe with ancient unsold Lego in it. I stopped at the KMart on 421 and was disappointed to see no tubs, buckets or (...) (24 years ago, 20-Jun-00, to lugnet.loc.us.nc)

Hello Frank and Everyone Else :) I have finally subscribed to this group, so I will be able to keep up with what is going on a little more. (...) Nope. Amber-related cons tend to be much smaller than "regular" sci-fi cons, on average.
