(...) mid (...) and (...) Unfortunately, I can't do that quite yet... I am in the middle of getting a new home built. (And I don't think we want to wait until april/may either).   Re: Lego train club for the Saint Louis area?

(...) Well obviously the place and time need to be made by someone who wants to take charge IN the St. Louis area. Maybe we could meet at their home. If this is the case then they need to be the one who comes up with the time, date, etc. Any (...)   Re: Lego train club for the Saint Louis area?

(...) We should post a date, time and place to meet then see how many people will post back saying that they could meet at that time. That's the best way I figure to get this thing rolling.   Re: Lego train club for the Saint Louis area?

(...) I live in the South St. Louis area. I would be interested to help to get something rolling. I would think that there would be plenty of people in this part of the country to make something work. (...) How many people need to be interested before you think we have enough? Also who would be willing to set up a web site dedicated to the club? John Warren (25 years ago, 18-Nov-99, to lugnet.loc.us.mo.stl, lugnet.loc.us.mo, lugnet.loc.us.mo.kan, lugnet.trains)

Re: Lego train club for the Saint Louis area?

It seams as though we could start something. In lugnet.trains is this: "I live in Paducah, Kentucky which is about 2-3 hours away from St.Louis. I would definitely be interested in forming a train group in this part of the world. I've been hoping (...) (...) Being in the Kansas City area, we're only about 3.5-4 hours apart. If you want to think on a broader scale, I would like to start a Missouri LEGO train club.   Get togethers

Well, since there seem to be very few in this area to have a get together (please let know if I am wrong!) I am interested in making the trek to Michigan for whatever is going on up there (quite a bit from what I understand). Anyone with me on (...) (25 years ago, 14-Jul-99, to lugnet.loc.us.mo.stl)

that big toy show at UMSL

Well, my recent departure from MO caused me to miss the big annual toy extravaganza at UMSL and I guess you guys missed it, too.   where are the Lego people?

Hi, This is John from Saint Louis. I just noticed I have been subscribed to this group for a couple months and never seen a post since I first subscribed.   Re: Testing 1-2-3 Testing

(...) Wow, discussion. One thing I miss about living in a metro area is bad neighborhoods. I bet that Kmarts in bad neighborhoods are better places to look.   Re: Testing 1-2-3 Testing

I wish I knew of some good places. The big Target accross from the Galleria had a few sets discounted by 25% (a couple of smaller Ninja sets and a Pharoah's Forbidden Fortress).
