  Re: Construction site.

(...) Hi, Yes, they do carry Technic sets, and lots of them including Dacta Technic. I don't know about that specific set, though. eric (25 years ago, 23-Mar-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ma.bos)

  Construction site.

I was thinking of making my way to the Costruction Site in Waltham this weekend. I was wondering if they stocked Technic sets? Has anyone seen a Tow Truck set #8462 when they were there? I guess I could call but that might be to easy :^) Thanks (25 years ago, 23-Mar-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ma.bos)

We have a saying in Portland, OR; "If you don't like the weather, sit down and have a beer. Chances are the weather you wanted will be along before you're finished." Yesterday it was sunny, partly cloudy, raining and windy all at the same time. (...) (25 years ago, 21-Mar-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ma.bos, lugnet.loc.us.or.por)

(...) Never lived in Cleveland, have you? That's the way the weather generally works here. Eg: if you feel like going skiing, it will snow on Monday, stay all week and melt as soon as you have the time to go... --Bram (25 years ago, 21-Mar-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ma.bos)

(...) Yeah.... I consider myself lucky for living in Israel most of my life... a place where spelling is simple and generally phonetical! Sure, the male/female thing is tough to grasp for an outsider, but easy when you learn it that way. The only (...) (25 years ago, 20-Mar-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ma.bos)

At least you don't live in a city where 99% of the residents can't pronounce any of the local place names! Par example: The name of the major river that runs through Portland (aka "poreland" or "fartland, boregon") is properly called the (...) (25 years ago, 20-Mar-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ma.bos)

(...) OMG, if you're talking accents... the funniest thing in the world is to hear Israelis try and speak english with no accent. Sorry if this insults any Israelis... it's not that I dislike the accent, it's just funny and recognizable. I can (...) (25 years ago, 18-Mar-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ma.bos, lugnet.off-topic.fun)

(...) Oh man, tell me about it. I'm dying here. You have no idea how good I felt in the warm weather (GOSH, I miss Israel!)... eating lunch on the grass was, like, the closest thing I've got to a homey feeling since september... And as much as the (...) (25 years ago, 18-Mar-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ma.bos)
