Re: Interest in NELTC or other Lego Group.

(...) I'd be interested, but I can't promise much devotion. And my contributions might be mostly Mindstorms related. :) (25 years ago, 16-Jul-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ma, lugnet.loc.us.nh, lugnet.loc.us.me, lugnet.loc.us.ct, lugnet.loc.us.ri)

  Re: Known groups

(...) A lot of the Red Line stations are pretty cool, for subway stations. And the underground would be kind of fun to model. (25 years ago, 16-Jul-99, to lugnet.trains.org, lugnet.loc.us.ma, lugnet.loc.us.ma.bos)

Interest in NELTC or other Lego Group.

I am posting this as a feeler to see what kind of interest there would be in a New England Lego Train Club or some other type of local Lego club where we could have Semi-Scheduled meetings like once every couple of months or so to start. I am not (...) (25 years ago, 16-Jul-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ma, lugnet.loc.us.nh, lugnet.loc.us.me, lugnet.loc.us.ct, lugnet.loc.us.ri)

  Re: Known groups

(...) Hmm, maybe Boston is too localized, from what people are saying on other parts of this thread. What about an EMLTC or a NELTC? EMLTC - Eastern Mass. LEGO Train Club NELTC - New England LEGO Train Club (Note: I'm not into Trains, so I couldn't (...) (25 years ago, 16-Jul-99, to lugnet.trains.org, lugnet.loc.us.ma, lugnet.loc.us.ma.bos)

  Re: Known groups

I tried to build a Green Line car, got as far as a frame that properly articulates and the steps, but ran out of time and scrapped it... My sense was that getting the center portion of the body to properly bend will be a challenge. I've subsequently (...)   Re: Known groups

(...) I don't know but I would love to take part if there were enough interest in the Boston Area. It would be cool to say model a Minifig scale Green Line running through Cambridge or something like that. After Star Wars, Trains are my favorite (...) (...) Say, how come there isn't a GBLTC? (Greater Boston LEGO Train Club) Ya'd think with the MIT Underground Railroad thing here and all the history that there'd be at least 10 or 20 train-nutzoids out here? :-) --Todd (25 years ago, 16-Jul-99, to lugnet.trains.org, lugnet.loc.us.ma, lugnet.loc.us.ma.bos)

Re: Rights to free goods? (was Re: What happened?

(...) Boston is one of the rarities in America, a non-rectangular designed city. Or rather, non-planned. Most inner cities here are the same - often the medieval moats are still running through them as well, so you can do nice liquid recreation. (...)   Re: take a piece, leave a piece -- traveling box of LEGO

There is talk of spawning a whole newsgroup for this activity, which I think would be swell.   Re: The Construction Paper

(...) That's just over 38 studs - a bit tight for a decent car, which is really all I can build.   Re: 8480 Space Shuttles in MA

You must have gotten the same employee I got. He couldn't have looked too hard. I, too, called in advance, although I knew I was going to go to the store anyway.
