  REMINDER: DixieLUG August Meeting this Saturday!
 
Hello Southern AFOL's! Just a friendly reminder that DixieLUG has a meeting this Saturday at my place! If you want to come, email me for directions (I need to keep a headcount).   Final NGLTC open house (closing down the clubhouse)
 
This Sunday (August 3rd) will be the final public display at the Discover Mills "clubhouse". This is your last chance to come and visit the NGLTC at the Discover Mills Mall. Thanks to those who pointed out the "lack of distribution" on the notice for the next meeting. That said, we would truly like to see everyone at the next meeting, check your calanders and plan on attending. :-) Never been to a gathering? No biggie, (...)   NGLTC mall open house
 
Today the NGLTC had it's first open house at our mall "club house". All day long we had heavy crowds, some had come just for the open house, others just happend to be at the mall at the right time. James, I'll be going, but I'm going to be up in NJ the week before. Ruth and I will be leaving later in the day on Sunday to get back here. (...) I remember, and was lucky enough to get to see the PNLTC mall layout in person. That was the major inspiration for me pursuing getting a space for the NGLTC, I just had to find the right opportunity and the right mall. This one is very new and (...) I hope we manage again this year because it's a lot of fun (and it was real cool that the place we did it at was 5 minutes from my apartment). Here are a few pictures of the outside of the club house: (URL) It's very strange being in there with the mall crowd, it's like living in a fish bowl.
