  Layout Electricity

Regarding restricting track voltage, I opened my controller up to see what could be done, and actually, there isn't much in it. But 2 physical stops could be added (glued) to keep the knob from being turned all the way either direction. A 1x1 glued (...) (25 years ago, 10-Feb-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

Electricity in layout (was Re: Structural weakness in MOCs?)

(...) thinking is (...) feed (...) It might not. I don't like doing that cuz IMO it'll strain the 317 regulator to put out what it's supposed to. Even if it could put out 9V with a 7.5V supply, I can't imagine the current remaining the same. I know (...) (25 years ago, 10-Feb-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

  Re: Structural weakness in MOCs?

Speaking of which, until we have modules, etc for a layout with hidden controllers, does anyone have a spare 9V wire to sacrifice? What I'm thinking is that if you get a 9V wire, cut one plate off and put a plug on it, you can feed the "main" (...) (25 years ago, 10-Feb-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)
