Re: Booth monitors (look and feel)

(...) Count me in for three or four (...) Sounds good, but I think BAYLUG would be better, more useful at non-train exhibits. Remember to find a vendor who will make XXL. Land's End is a really good source for polo shirts, and has reasonable prices. (...) (24 years ago, 8-Aug-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

  RE: your schedule?

I'm working in Mt. View, now at the Silicon Valley Campus (1065 La Avenida, in Building 1, the center of the campus) I can bring them in Wednesday or Thursday. We should pick a time, since I have meetings. (Or I can leave it with the receptionists (...) (24 years ago, 8-Aug-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

RE: Booth monitors (look and feel)

Actually, John Neal ("J-2") ( johnneal@uswest.net ) is the GMLTC person to contact. He runs a tshirt screening business out of his home, and has contacts for embroidering shirts. He could probably give you estimated costs, timeframes, etc... I think (...) (24 years ago, 8-Aug-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

  Booth monitors (look and feel)

  Re: BayLUG/BayLTC next meeting? (GATS)

FYI, The Great American Train Show (GATS) will be in the Bay Area the weekend following Thanksgiving, at the Alameda County Fairgrounds in Pleasanton. NO, I'm not suggesting that we exhibit. ;-) I'm just pointing out that there may be a date (...) (24 years ago, 8-Aug-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

Re: Booth monitors and crowd control

Well, they must be CERTIFIED as flame retardant, which means more than just being so. Also, what is wrong with people seeing my legs? :-) Mike Benz, Mark <Mark.Benz@BroadVision.com> wrote in message news:FB90BFF591F3D31...ion.com... (...) (24 years ago, 8-Aug-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

Re: Booth monitors and crowd control

(...) I can do this!!! I have 2 or 3 large signs from the Shell station outside Fresno that was Mike's main supplier. I can make a tall pole (1" diam) with a crosspiece to hold the signs. Paul Sinasohn (24 years ago, 8-Aug-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

  A Really Nice Day

I just wanted to say that I thought the layout at NMRA was very exciting. My wife and I came down for the day just to see BayLUG/BayLTC's setup. It was a real treat getting the chance to see a big layout in action. Congrats to all that helped make (...) (24 years ago, 9-Aug-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

RE: Booth monitors and crowd control
