Well, the NMRA show is now behind us. Kudoes to GMLTC and PNLTC who paved the way for LEGO Train Clubs (even if they have set the bar *very high* for those that folllow them.;-). Many 'regulars' from the NMRA circuit remembered them, and commented (...) (24 years ago, 7-Aug-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

We haven't picked a date, and we probably should. What dates are good/bad for everyone? September would fit into the "quarterly" schedule, leaving us to try to have a winter meeting between Thanksgiving and Christmas. We had two meetings last year, (...) Not wanting to leave folks names out; Friday, Fred Yokel visited, and Tom McDonald helped me with the booth duty all day (Big Help!), while Tom Stangle showed up in the afternoon to bring in his freight warehouse. (...) These are the ones we have to keep eagle eyes out for Sat/Sun, or we'll be rebuilding a LOT of displays. Putting the freight train on the outside is a better idea, as we'll run it slower, so a derail shouldn't hurt as much (and it keeps my (...) (24 years ago, 5-Aug-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)
