  RE: BayLUG Get-Together summary

I was on vacation for the last/first meeting. I am waiting on the edge of my seat for the next meeting. Fremont was such a perfect place for me to get to. Please please have them atleast every quarter (for a little while maybe). Janet (...) (25 years ago, 17-Jun-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

Re: KTVU Offer for Lego Users Club

I think we should hang onto the BayLUG domain, and hosting. It ensures that we can eassily add users, and back data up. :-) Well, how about these options; 1) I could contact Lorry Fleming, and explore what they want, and what they can do. This (...)   RE: BayLUG Get-Together summary

Hi, Sorry, I'm on vacation early Aug. returning the 10th. Do people think we "need" meetings every quarter, or is every 6 months enough? Like say May and Nov? I would very much like to see "theme" tables, etc. at every meeting, and not have themed (...) (25 years ago, 17-Jun-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

  Re: LEGO Factory in CA?

(...) Wahoo! Mohammed comes to the mountain! Er, um, <cough> Really? Hadn't heard that. But I say that that's gonna cost real money to do that.   BayLUG Get-Together summary

Hello all, It looks like we've finished with the discussions and follow-ups from our first meeting. So, maybe it's time to summarize what we have discussed, and then move on to picking the next site and date? :-) IN GENERAL TERMS, folks seemed to (...)   LEGO Factory in CA?

Hi, Someone at my office just told me he saw on the Local News (KRON-channel 4) last nite that TLG is planning to build a FACTORY in Marin County CA. He said it is not a distribution center, but a real factory. Anybody else heard this? Mark (25 years ago, 17-Jun-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf, lugnet.general)

Re: KTVU Offer for Lego Users Club

I think the url should stay intact. But this is free exposure, and possibly makes KTVU aware of us. It also might put us on a list for possible exposure for free public service air time. I guess what I'd like to know is what we'd put on that Bay (...) (25 years ago, 17-Jun-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

KTVU Offer for Lego Users Club

Hi Guys, What do you think of this? Do we want to move Baylug, or just link to it from BayInsider or do nothing or?? I think its a good way to get more exposure at least via a link. Comments? (...) There weren't any at Carlsbad, however, I remember Huw Millington posted that he saw them in stores in England. You may want to try e-mailing a European citizen like Huw, Carbon 60, or Jon D.
