Called into LSB today and had a chat with one of the guys setting up the new SW Ep II displays... According to him, LLW were expecting us to have a bit of a spend-up on the RLD event, so they did their best to get plenty of trains in for us in (...) (24 years ago, 23-Apr-02, to lugnet.loc.uk)

We were in the middle of formalizing (or planning the formalizing of) the curatorships, and up until then, the page stuff had been done in an ad-hoc way with a separate sign-in system (not based on the (...) I am taking part in two Lego train shows. These are shows where the children can operate the trains so they are chaotic and busy - everyone is amazed at how robust they are. Sat & Sun 1st & 2nd June at Glenrothes, Fife, in the Rothes Hall, this is (...) (24 years ago, 23-Apr-02, to lugnet.loc.uk)

I've just been into Toys'R'Us in Southampton, and they've got all the Episode II models now. Yoda, Tusken Raiders, new Slave I, Gunship, Jango Fett and the Super Battle Droid (they've had Starfighters for a while now). They've also got a pile of (...)
