    2001 sets! —Huw Millington

      I was doing a bit of Christmas shopping and afforded myself 2 minutes to look at the LEGO 'aisle' (it's just a few shelves at the back of the store.      LOM sets have been spotted in Boswell's dept store, Oxford. £20 for the mechs?!! Are they worth _that much ?! The red one looks nice, but £20!    Went to Hamleys in London yesterday. They had all the new 2001 Star Wars sets, all the Life On Mars range (except the big 7317 Aero Tube Base), and interestingly, all the 9v train sets currently available on (URL) which I haven't seen in other (...)    The 1807 Santa was retailing for a more reasonable £1.50 - they had about half a dozen left on the wall behind the tills in the Lego dept. (24 years ago, 22-Dec-00, to lugnet.loc.uk)
