My best find would be a 8865 and 8862 for £12. In the same lot came a few
small sets, but I never did get around to building these. I once got an
incomplete 4563 for £3.

I tend to be more fastidious at car boot sales these days as the quality is
often low. I'd rather invest my time and money on "For Sale" ads in
supermarkets etc. These items tend to be more expensive, but the quality is
far higher. A few weeks ago I got a RIS _&_ DDK this way. :-)

Car boots tend to be quite lean in this part of the world, but the
following notables have turned up;

6285 Black Seas Barracuda (£15)
6286 Skull Eye Schooner (£16)
7839 12V remote controlled level crossing (£5)
922  Old basic set with yellow 4.5V motor, had a pile of 60's literature
underneath the tray

Also a 1960's fold open town base board (the one I had at Tony's fest)
for £2!!
