  EUROfest 2000 in the UK?
 
The way the planning of this seems to be going now is that a few people from various countries are checking out halls, hotels, nearby attractions (assuming some people will bring their families for the trip!), etc. Then once some approximate (...) (24 years ago, 22-Feb-00, to lugnet.loc.uk)

For that fee we got many things more than the admission (...) (24 years ago, 23-Feb-00, to lugnet.loc.uk)

I would have to agree with Richard, London is not that expensive. I live on the east London Essex border and know of two local caravan and camping sites as well as a couple of B&B's plus there are plenty of halls that can be had. Regards, Jason (24 years ago, 26-Feb-00, to lugnet.loc.uk)

(...) Plus, arriving in London is much less expensive than many other sites in Europe. Off season, I could go to London and back for less than NOK 1000, while getting to Edinburgh, Paris or Amsterdam would eaily cost at least NOK 2500. (That is from (...)
