Plus, arriving in London is much less expensive than many other sites in
Europe. Off season, I could go to London and back for less than NOK 1000,
while getting to Edinburgh, Paris or Amsterdam would eaily cost at least
NOK 2500. (That is from Oslo, Norway.)
This saving in transport costs can justify slightly steeper registration
costs. Besides, London has many other sights that people might be interested
in.

| I would have to agree with Richard, London is not that expensive. I live on the east London Essex border and know of two local caravan and camping sites as well as a couple of B&B's plus there are plenty of halls that can be had. Regards, Jason (25 years ago, 26-Feb-00, to lugnet.loc.uk)
