Is Your CC Transaction at WWW.THETOYSHOP.COM Sucure?

I think it is. I had a problem with them when I placed my last order. The crux of the problem was that no staff at The Entertainer (WWW.THETOYSHOP.COM) could actually see my credit card details as the whole transaction is supposed to be secure. Of (...) (26 years ago, 30-Nov-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)

Re: e-commerce (was Technic shuttle etc)

(...) This was the first thing I thought- and I've got a URL about it: -> (URL) may break. Feh.) Good luck, but I doubt they'll honour the orders- but with some of the Americans I've seen on the previous thread, I'd be surprised if there wasn't a (...) (26 years ago, 30-Nov-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)

Re: Unified UK Lego Web Page/Community?

(...) Thank guys! We're very glad you liked our ItLUG site. We consider the design phase not yet finished, but the idea is definitely there. (...) Hope you don't mind if we steal some of *your* ideas :-) BTW, an other item that could be useful is a (...) (26 years ago, 30-Nov-99, to lugnet.loc.uk, lugnet.loc.it)

Re: Unified UK Lego community idea

(...) Aw, don't worry -- there's no such thing as imposing data upon LUGNET. Its whole purpose in life is to give data good homes -- especially text and structured data. (...) Yup! -- that's been the idea all along. But it's the discussion groups (...) (26 years ago, 30-Nov-99, to lugnet.loc.uk, lugnet.org.us)

  Re: Technic Shuttle for £4!!

(...) little (...) It was not for that much, just 8 of the Technic Space Shuttles. I had used this same card for other overseas purchases. I know I used it for DYA and I think I used it for Busy Bee as well. Just kind of odd. (...) My mother got (...) (26 years ago, 30-Nov-99, to lugnet.loc.uk, lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Unified UK Lego community idea

(...) That sounds yummy! One big question I have is how we are going to tie it in nicely with LUGNET. Or rather, how much (if any) of the information we have described would be more appropriate if it were held on LUGNET? While we don't want to (...) (26 years ago, 30-Nov-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  Re: Technic Shuttle for £4!!

(...) I've been checking the site all afternoon/evening for any evidence on toyshop realizing its error... or waiting to see if Larry P got word back re: his email... the site is now just coming up as a red screen for me... looks like they may be in (...)   Re: Unified UK Lego community idea

(...) I have no idea about such regulations, but we quite happily brought 3 suitcases and 3 carry-on (between 2 of us), and I am *positive* that at least one of those suitcases was more than 75 pounds. The only requirement I'm aware of (not counting (...) (26 years ago, 30-Nov-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)

Re: Unified UK Lego Web Page/Community?

(...) An ambiguous statement in THIS particular thread... :-) (...) Dude, where did you get those??? I want some! (26 years ago, 30-Nov-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)

Re: Unified UK Lego Web Page/Community?

I back Simon on this one. If imposters from the US or any other group are banned from the Lugnet.uk group then I'm throwing away my "Up the Queen" tea towel and "I love Great Britain" toilet brush holder in protest! Sanjay -- "If you don't have a (...) (26 years ago, 30-Nov-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)
