TRU, Chatham had 6289s priced at under 30GBP... I grabbed the last two (plus a dozen How Wheels too), and the whole lot came in at under 50GBP!!! 4 quid off the first 6289, 6 quid off the second (?) then bogof (buy-one-get-one-free) on the HWs - (...) (26 years ago, 11-Nov-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)

The fact that a rule is stupid or even that it costs the company sales when it is adhered to is irrelevant.
