An update of sorts: The shop's name is Ottakar's. The model is of the McIntosh Rose (no idea what this is, any suggestions?). A meet may be a bad idea, as that day is when England beat... sorry, play Scotland at Hampden in the Euro qualifiers, and (...) (26 years ago, 25-Oct-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)

This morning on Channel 4 (sometime between 7.15am and 7.30am), there was an advert for the Droid Development Kit. I only caught the end of it, but it basically had quite a few robots running about. Ben. P.S. I got my Battle Droid at the weekend, 22 (...) (26 years ago, 25-Oct-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)

Got mine in the shop at Legoland Windsor weekend before last. As it was my first trip I was good and didn't go into the shop until we were ready to leave, if I had I don't think I'd have seen much of the park :-) I agree, it's a great kit. Acquiring (...) (26 years ago, 25-Oct-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)

I did some digging and it does indeed seem that this offer hasn't made it on to the website :-( I'm told that will soon be rectified. I know it exists as I have a Biker Bob on top of my monitor :-) However if anyone can't wait, the book can be (...) (26 years ago, 25-Oct-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)

A number of sentiments I share in here. The UK community is big enough to support a fair old exchange and sale of stuff now. With 3+ legofests a year, which seems likely to continue, there is real opportunity though. I auction stuff worldwide every (...) (26 years ago, 25-Oct-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)
