Since the 'fest things seem to have died down a bit... I'll liven things up by stating that I got a set of Shell sets from Holland yesterday. They are excellent, and would seem to be very cheap. I am paying $70 for the set, and that includes $16 for (...) (26 years ago, 28-Sep-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)

Sounds like they must have got some more stock. I picked up the 6969 for £14.99 (I think) some months ago from Safeway, but they ran out long ago. They had 6919 back then too, but also at more than £8.99. I'll check my local and pick up some more at (...) (26 years ago, 27-Sep-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)

My local Beatties (Winchester) has some Star Wars sets in their sale - I don't remember all the prices but they weren't discounted by more than £2-£3. They had lots of other Phantom Menace merchandise reduced - maybe that's a sign of market (...) (26 years ago, 25-Sep-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)
