OK, it's taken me a while to get organised, but here it is: probably the last Legofest of the millennium. Venue: my house, just outside Sandbach, Cheshire. About 2 miles from J17 on the M6, OS grid ref. SJ 746 594, or there abouts. Date: currently a (...) (26 years ago, 28-Sep-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  Its quiet in here...

Since the 'fest things seem to have died down a bit... I'll liven things up by stating that I got a set of Shell sets from Holland yesterday. They are excellent, and would seem to be very cheap. I am paying $70 for the set, and that includes $16 for (...) (26 years ago, 28-Sep-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  Re: Insectoids at Safeway

Sounds like they must have got some more stock. I picked up the 6969 for £14.99 (I think) some months ago from Safeway, but they ran out long ago. They had 6919 back then too, but also at more than £8.99. I'll check my local and pick up some more at (...) (26 years ago, 27-Sep-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  Insectoids at Safeway

Sorry if this is old news, I can't remember who's said what. But anyway: I've just picked up two insectoid sets 6919 (the one with six big blue wheels) & 6969 (the light & sound one with two small ships attached on the sides) for £8.99 and £12.99 (...) (26 years ago, 27-Sep-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  Re: Star Wars sets

My local Beatties (Winchester) has some Star Wars sets in their sale - I don't remember all the prices but they weren't discounted by more than £2-£3. They had lots of other Phantom Menace merchandise reduced - maybe that's a sign of market (...) (26 years ago, 25-Sep-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)

(...) Bah! :P Some kind person emailled me to say that they got it directly from DK, whose ordering number is: 0870 842 0000. It is a really lovely book! It kept my non Lego fanatical girlfriend entertained for hours at the Scottish Legofest, and (...) (26 years ago, 25-Sep-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  Star Wars sets
