  Re: Croydon Lego convention

(...) In fact it's gone!! Good job you mean October :) (...) How long do we have to set up Craig? I take it you'll want help with that. I reckon it would be good if we could get an idea of what we want to do beforehand so we can be ready for the (...) (22 years ago, 27-Aug-02, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  Re: Croydon Lego convention

(...) Sorry to break this to you, but August 12th has been and gone. Did you mean October? :-) You said this event has been advertised nationally, but this is the first time you've mentioned the phrase 'Piece by Piece'. Do you have a website? How (...) (22 years ago, 27-Aug-02, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  Re: Croydon Lego convention

August 12th is coming up fast. I'm working flat out to complete several fairly ambitious models finished in time. One aspect of the displays on show will be a large spacecraft hanger for any sci-fi models which are brought along. I'm also planning a (...) (22 years ago, 27-Aug-02, to lugnet.loc.uk)

(...) And we thought such composite bricks were a recent phenomenon... (...) My best guess would be they were from the 8485 Control Centre II, although not necessarily one of the models in the book. I don't have that one, so I can't check. Alastair (22 years ago, 23-Aug-02, to lugnet.loc.uk)

(...) Hi Michael I just remembered the piece from my childhood. :-) The yellow piece is from 378 Tractor. Search for it in the database, and check out the building instructions. The others I don't know about. Kecia Hansen Denmark (22 years ago, 23-Aug-02, to lugnet.loc.uk)

A foreigner's impression of LEGOLAND Deutschland

I have just returned from a week in Bavaria with my wife and two daughters and thought I'd write some notes/impressions while they are fresh in my mind that may be of use to others thinking of travelling from other countries to LEGOLAND Deutschland. I bought one of these in a fit of enthusiasm from the online Lego shop recently, which was a bit daft as I'd already got the Robotics Invention Set.   Re: More LLW/RLD feedback

  Re: More LLW/RLD feedback

  More LLW/RLD feedback

Firstly, I'm going to do a "me too" and say what a fantastic time the RLD/LLW experience was - this was my first time, and if you haven't done it already, you will not be disappointed. I can't really justify going back in October :-( but I will (...) (22 years ago, 17-Aug-02, to lugnet.loc.uk)
